Birthdays and celebrations
A birthday for twelve calls for one long table and a price everyone knows before sitting down. There are four menus, €22 to €43 per person, tax included. The Terramar, the priciest, is half a lobster, prawns, mussels and squid each.
Company dinners
A company dinner is booked weeks ahead and should hold no surprises on the bill. The tables are put together, the food is shared, and the price per person is fixed: the Tapeo menu is seven tapas and a dessert, €22. We are in the Gothic Quarter, thirty metres from La Rambla.
Family celebrations
The same family has been on this street since 1929. A family meal is laid out like any other group — the tables together, ten people or more, and one menu for everybody. The Santa Anna menu carries the house’s own name: four tapas to share, then grilled meat or fresh salmon, and a dessert, €32.
Small groups
Group menus start at ten people. If there are eight or nine of you, nothing is lost: you order from the menu, the same paellas and the same tapas, and everybody picks their own.

Not every group arrives with the same budget. The Tapeo is the cheapest of the four group menus at €22 a head, with seven tapas, a dessert and wine or sangria included. The two school menus are separate, at €19 and €23.
